Stress Technologist

Training could be : Nurse, Paramedic, EMT, stress tech
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for stress testing, including EKG lead placement and equipment setup.
• Monitor and record EKG readings during treadmill exercise tests.
• Provide clear instructions to patients throughout the testing process.
• Assess and respond to any changes in patient condition during the test.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret test outcomes and assist in patient management.

Qualifications:

• Certification in EKG and/or stress testing (e.g., ACS, CCT).
• Strong understanding of cardiac physiology and stress testing protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
