If you are an experienced Structural Welder looking to work in a safe, productive environment alongside other tradesmen's and professionals who take pride in their craft and work ethic, this opportunity is for you. JOB SCOPE: • Daily repair and construction work on marine barges, tugboats and other shipyard equipment onboard vessels and in outdoor environments. • SMAW (Stick) welding process. • Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G) and Overhead (4G) welding positions. • Grade A, mild carbon steel materials. • Full and Partial penetration welding. • Layout, Tack and Weld steel material and structural members in place • Use hand tools, grinders, material handling devices. REQUIREMENTS: • Must be a Structural Welder with at least 3-years’ welding experience. • Must submit a resume detailing work experience and job history. • Must pass medical examination and drug screening. • Must pass enhanced background checks – DISA. • Must pass onsite welding test – 2G, 3G, 4G positions w/ visual examination. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must have PPE – Hardhat, Steel Toe Shoes, Welding Mask/Shield, Gloves, etc. • Must be willing to share two-person hotel/lodging accommodations.
