Structural Welder – Shipyard (Local & Non-Local)

What You’ll Be Doing: • Perform production welding in a shipyard or shop environment with minimal supervision • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and Navy/MSC/ABS standards • Utilize SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW processes to make full penetration welds using ceramic and metal backing • Operate and maintain welding equipment and power/hand tools • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper PPE use • Contribute to structural repairs and new installations in line with project needs What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 4 years of welding experience, preferably in marine or industrial settings • Proficiency withSMAW, FCAW, and GMAWin all positions • Experience working from drawings and weld procedure specifications • Strong understanding of ship compartment layouts and repair terminology • Ability to pass weld tests with backing in various positions • Able to perform physical tasks in confined spaces and at heights while wearing PPE • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass all background screenings • Previous shipyard experiencerequired Pay: • Local:$28/hr • Non-Local:$21/hr + $110/day per diem Benefits of Joining Our Team: • Competitive pay with per diem for non-local travel • Long-term, steady projects • Opportunities to support major military contracts • Work alongside an experienced and committed crew Ready to Join?
