Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and standards, with the ability to read blueprints and fabricate metal structures. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety while working on various projects involving structural components.
Responsibilities
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the structure.
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate metal components.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards while executing welding tasks.
• Utilize tools such as calipers for precise measurements and pipe threading equipment as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials around the worksite.
• Collaborate with team members to rig materials for assembly and installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Structural Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical documents related to welding projects.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience in fabricating metal structures and components is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform pipe threading and soldering tasks as required by specific projects.
• Experience with ductwork installation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
