Access 1:1 check-ins to discuss school feedback, general questions, training opportunities, and career planning. Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns. Perks & Compensation: • Earn up to $200 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers. • Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state) • Weekly paychecks via direct deposit • Hired as a W-2 employee so no worrying about withholding your own taxes • Reimbursement for expenses related to state and federal background checks • 401k enrollment after meeting eligibility requirements • Referral Program: Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards What We’re Looking For: • Passion for education and putting students first • An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be • College credits, Associate’s Degree or a Bachelors Degree • Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor • State & federal background checks You’ll Stand Out If You: • Have an Arizona Substitute Certification OR AZ Teaching Credential • Have previous experience in special education settings • Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
