Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns. Perks & Compensation: • Earn up to $170 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers. • Paid training hours, professional development opportunities vary by state • Weekly paychecks via direct deposit • Hired as a W-2 employee so no worrying about withholding your own taxes • Reimbursement for expenses related to state and federal background checks • 401k enrollment after meeting eligibility requirements • Referral Program: Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards What We’re Looking For: • Hold a Bachelors Degree • Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor • State & federal background checks • Passion for education and putting students first • An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be You’ll Stand Out If You: • Have a Substitute Teaching Permit OR NV Teaching Credential • Willing to accept placements in North Las Vegas • Have previous experience in special education settings • You are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
