Perks & Compensation: • Earn up to $200 - $263 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers. • Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state) • Weekly paychecks via direct deposit • Hired as a W-2 employee so no worrying about withholding your own taxes • Reimbursement for expenses related to state and federal background checks • 401k enrollment after meeting eligibility requirements • Referral Program: Refer friends to sub with Scoot - after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards What We’re Looking For: • Passion for education and putting students first • An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be • College credits, Associate’s Degree or a Bachelors Degree • Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor • State & federal background checks • A TB risk assessment or test You’ll Stand Out If You: • Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit • Have previous experience in special education settings • Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
