Substitute Teacher

We’re actively recruitingsubstitute teachersfor K–12 schools inSouthwood and the greater Duval County area. This flexible role lets you teach when it works for you, while still having a big impact. What you'll do: • Step into classrooms with confidence, following ready-to-go lesson plans • Maintain structure, discipline, and engagement • Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports all learners • Supervise students with care and attention • Work with school staff to ensure continuity and progress What we’re looking for: • Reliability, resourcefulness, and strong communication • Familiarity with school routines and the ability to adapt quickly • Commitment to school policies and a team mindset Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s preferred) • 21+ years of age • At least one year of experience with children in educational settings • Must be available to accept jobs between 6:00–6:30am • Confident classroom presence and solid instructional skills Local Schools: Southwood schools are known for their inclusive staff culture and commitment to student success.
