About the Role:
As a UX Engineer Intern on Salesforce's Emerging Tech Design & Strategy team, you'll help bring futuristic concepts to life by designing and building functional prototypes powered by real or simulated data. You'll work on projects exploring the future of work, AI-first paradigms, and next-gen experiences, collaborating with designers and researchers to turn bold ideas into reality. This is the perfect role for a visionary coder who loves experimenting, making, and dreaming about the future of technology.

What You'll Do:

• Work on experiments that explore the future of work at Salesforce, creating prototypes that bring AI-first concepts to life.
• Build functional prototypes using modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Collaborate with product designers to turn visionary ideas into interactive experiences that test new paradigms.
• Integrate prototypes with real or simulated data to validate user flows and functionality.
• Contribute to projects parallel to critical path initiatives, helping to push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Participate in daily and weekly sketching, prototyping, and iteration sessions.

What You'll Bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field, graduating December 2025 or later.
• Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern frameworks.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and solving complex design challenges through code.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and a passion for crafting immersive, user-centered experiences.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, maker mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data integration, API usage, or advanced prototyping techniques.
• A passion for experimenting with emerging technologies and building futuristic concepts.
• Knowledge of design strategy and a strong systems-thinking approach.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Platform and technologies.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $46 to $53.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
