Summer Internship: Product Intern

The Position

We are seeking a Product Summer Intern to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet. As a Product Intern, you'll work with our product team on a focused project in which you'll learn valuable product management skills while contributing to our mission of motivating and enabling people to save energy. You'll work with a Product Manager that will show you the ropes of the business and give you product roadmap ownership for enhancements and features.

• Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to build impactful, new features
• Partner with teams to create product requirements, stories, and epics
• Develop an understanding of Agile Software Development by running standups & refinement meetings
• Conduct research on market opportunity & competitive landscape to influence product roadmap
• Learn about technologies shaping the energy and electrification industries

What you bring to Uplight:

• Passionate about creating great tech products for the energy industry
• Desire to learn and grow your skills within a dynamic and innovative Product focused organization
• Curious and self-motivated with the ability to execute on projects when given direction
• An appetite for creative problem solving and the ability to maintain flexibility
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related technical/analytical field
• Preferred experience: Google Analytics, eCommerce, APIs, and Data Analysis

Salary Range: $18 - $20 per hour (dependent upon experience)
