Supervising Pharmacist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, patient management, and medication compounding. Duties • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical standards. • Conduct thorough medication reviews to ensure safety and efficacy for patients. • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. • Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans, including pain management and critical care protocols. • Compound medications as needed, ensuring compliance with all regulations. • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Educate patients about IV infusion therapies and other specialized treatments. • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy to provide informed patient care. Skills • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. • Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and protocols. • Experience in medical management and critical care environments. • Ability to compound medications effectively and safely. • Excellent understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to pharmacotherapy. • Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care through comprehensive medication management.
