I.General Function

Reporting to the Associate Manager, the Supervisor will be passionate about working closely with the Demand Planning, Warehousing and other concerned teams to ensure the stable supply and deliver the products to our valuable customers. Also to be needed to work closely internally and externally to offer operational efficiency. These are to create a culture of operational and customer excellence for our most important purpose, "Advancing the World of Health".

II.Main Responsibilities

• Understand and support the team operations (import/export) both for BD and Medicon products
• Understand our structures for transportation cost
• Lead/support to optimize the team operations and transportation cost
• Lead/support to provide operational efficiencies
• Work closely/effectively/cross functionally with internal/external team domestically and internationally
• Lead/involve the concerned personnels and resolve problems

• Education in Supply Chain or Business with related work experience
• More than 5 years of experience at forwarder (or carriers) either for air freight or ocean freight
• Business level English and Japanese skill for verbal and written communication (at least Business level required)
• Familiar with customs regulations and trade compliance
• SAP or JDE operations experience
• People management experience
• Able to solve problems with pliability, as well as to think logically
• Proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
