Supervisor (Packing Operations)

CSL Behring is currently recruiting for a Supervisor (Packing Operations) to join our team at Broadmeadows site. This role is a full-time permanent (ongoing) role and will suit someone who has a strong understanding of cGMP, process improvement and delivering high performing results within fast paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Manager (Packing), you will work onsite and support the shop floor employees in Packaging manufacturing operations.

Please note: This role will be day and afternoon shift (Rotation). May require working in night shift roster in the near future.

Your responsibilities

• Manage a team of production employees and activities within fast paced packing area to assure production following company policies and regulations.

Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and procedures, allocate labour and capital resources to maximize productivity.

Plan and manage production line maintenance and downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedule adherence.

Design, develop and standardise efficient processes & systems for improving operational performance.

Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.

Act as change leader and increase department competitiveness through developing challenging mindset and best in class standards.

Your experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational or technical training.
  
• 5+ years' packaging experience, ideally within fast paced pharmaceutical/biotech area.
  
• Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in a TGA/FDA regulated industry.
  
• Demonstrated problem solving, creativity, time management and prioritizing skills.
