SUPERVISORY LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST (CLAIMS EXAMINER)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing medical care recovery claims work incorporating all of the following duties: (1) Examining, negotiating, and settling affirmative medical care recovery claims ; (2) Analyzing and evaluating investigations for factual sufficiency and applying the relevant information to facilitate the adjudication of affirmative medical care recovery claims and the strategic planning, execution, management, and oversight for business-related operations; (3) Applying principles, methods, tools for developing, to coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and manage projects and resources; (4) Communicating both orally and in writing to a variety of sources to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory rules as related to the adjudication of affirmative medical care recovery claims; and (5) Performing administrative functions at the supervisory level such as: planning work schedules, distributing workload, instituting compliance measures, evaluating performance, and mentoring/training personnel.

Specialized experience must demonstrate all of the above qualifications listed at the GS-09 level (or equivalent), and in addition, candidate must have experience developing and implementing efficiencies to balance workload, and providing technical direction and oversight regarding processing and adjudicating claims.
