The Supplier Quality Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for managing supplier quality to ensure exceptional product quality for patient safety,

This position is part of the Supplier Quality Management team with location in Belgium and will be a on-site position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Ensure supplier compliance to Process, QMS and regulatory requirements through supplier monitoring.
• Collaborate with Suppliers, Logistics, Sourcing, and Manufacturing to deliver quality improvements that minimize the cost of quality to improve processes.

• Support internal deviation and monitoring process linked to Logistics activities through executing root case investigation and applying Corrective and Preventive Action as needed.

• Build and implement Supplier Audit Plan and undertake supplier technical reviews when appropriate.
• Lead and execute supplier and route qualification activities in collaboration with Logistics Operations and Sourcing teams.
• Support Global Sourcing and Logistics quality initiatives and metrics.
Who you are
• A quality professional with a minimum of 3 years of quality related work experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience with route qualifications and how to drive resolution of carrier/route/logistic issues that impact quality
• Knowledge of supplier quality management workstreams including qualification, auditing, change management, and CAPA/RCA execution.

• Fluent in English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 30% travel, overnight, within Europe and occasionally internationally
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Supplier Quality Management

• Logistics, distribution, warehouse operation and carrier/forward development
