Supply Chain Intern

Job Description

The supply chain internship role will focus on learning our facilities supply chain processes and helping us with the following:

* Inventory and inventory management
* Sap exception message processing
* Support Scheduling hose production within the facility
* Improve the flow of product within bottleneck area
* Help improve the inventory levels in the plant and our ordering queues within SAP
* Learn how to pull & sort order in the shipping department
* Work in the Norfolk Plant Continental location during summer months & may do some remote work during the school year.

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in supply chain, business management or general business.
* GPA of 2.7 or higher
* Experience in Microsoft Suite of Products
* Familiar with supply chain and inventory control principles• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
* Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
* Ability to work in a team based organization
