By providing direct supervision, training, and mentoring for its employees, Concourse pursues the effective development of knowledge, skills, and judgment required to fulfill its unique and important mission. For this role, Concourse is seeking a talented individual with in-depth supply chain and logistics management knowledge and experience for Federal government agencies, which includes day-to-day management and consultation across multiple projects or detailed work in a particular aspect of the supply chain management activities. The Supply Chain Junior Project Manager provides management and hands-on work based on this specialized area of industry standards and methodology, effectively communicating as the single point of contact for activity and requests directly from customers. This Junior Project Manager plays a critical role in our firm’s execution and further enhancement of supply chain project management support, working with the client’s staff and at times being the client’s representative to outside supply chain partners. Duties and Responsibilities: · Executes activities involved in one or more areas of the supply chain for the client. · Responsible for engaging in processes for supply chain programs related to the purchasing, transportation, acceptance, tracking and overall management of equipment and inventory. · Leads cross-functional teams to facilitate daily operation and execute supply chain improvement projects. · Develops and delivers reports and provides regular updates on project status to Chief Supply Chain Management. · Manages planning and scheduling of project deliverables, goals, and milestones. · Identifies areas for improvement and optimization, collaborates with stakeholders to implement best practices, and utilizes technological solutions to enhance efficiency and visibility across the healthcare supply chain. · Develops and leverages data analysis tools and comprehensive charts as business solutions for supply chain and logistical challenges and develops and implements risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success. · Conducts warehouse activities to include walkthroughs to facilitate wall-to-wall inventory projects. · Supports and conducts presentations and training both internally and externally related to supply chain project management processes. Responsible for the development of supply chain training plans, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), re-vamp of related existing materials, and document and share lessons learned for future reference. · Develops, monitors and maintains project plans to ensure tasks are completed on time, addresses any project performance issues by analyzing and communicating them appropriately in a timely manner. · Monitors and reports on progress, developing weekly and ad-hoc delivery reports for active projects being worked. Skills and Abilities: Required · Proficient ability in leading and supporting projects in equipment and supply ordering, receipt, consolidation, inventory management, and warehousing. · Ability to meet and deal effectively with stakeholders in various environments, both structured and unstructured, and clearly communicate information · Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. · Adhere to schedules and meet deadlines. • Strong business acumen and an ability to communicate clearly within various business settings and industries. • Legal authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI low-risk public trust clearance. • If non-US citizen, required to have lived in the U.S. or in a U.S. territory no less than three (3) continuous years preceding the start of position. Preferred · Skilled in owning, scheduling, and facilitating various project specific meetings with mid to large audiences. Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Management. · At least three (3) years of relevant logistics/supply chain management experience. · Experience in project managing process improvement projects including direct interface with customers. · Professional training completions or Certification relevant to supply chain or logistics management. APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant certifications) is a plus. · Project Management Professional (PMP) license is a plus. · Experience in the government consulting healthcare industry is a plus. · Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) is a plus. Working Conditions: • Works on site at the West LA VA Campus five days a week. • Ability to be mobile across a campus site including walking approx. 1 mile per day. • Flexibility to report to other healthcare system sites in surrounding area including warehouses, clinics, and campuses. • Ability to lift, carry, and/or transport boxes or equipment of approximately 25 lbs.
