  • Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional teams responsible for management of military customer Proposals
  • Primary lead/focal and subject matter expert within Supply Chain in management of military Proposals
  • Prepare and solicit Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Assign activity (RFx) to various Commodity Specialists and monitor/coordinate to ensure execution
  • Contact Suppliers for timely submittal of proposals and clarifications
  • Conduct analysis on supplier responses to RFI, RFP, RFQ
  • Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
  • Propose supplier selections and provide justifications for supplier selections
  • Evaluates suppliers' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness
  • Put in place NDA with suppliers
  • Able to understand and interpret part drawings
  • Understanding of and compliance with FAR-DFAR, TINA requirements for military proposals
  • Prepare cost models and analytics where required
  • Executes Supply Chain strategies
  • Perform competitive market analysis
  • Tabulate and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Execute negotiation strategies to attain best value
  • Assist in the preparation of customer approval packages prior to award
  • Launch and own the process improvement initiative for Supply Chain Military Proposals process flow by holding events/workshops, mapping out the current state, recommending improvements/future state, and executing the process changes once approval is obtained
Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in either Supply Chain, Procurement, Program Management, Project Management
Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
  • Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial experience preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with shifting priorities
  • Technical or manufacturing aptitude
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to use procurement systems; proficient in Microsoft excel and power point

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
