- Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional teams responsible for management of military customer Proposals
- Primary lead/focal and subject matter expert within Supply Chain in management of military Proposals
- Prepare and solicit Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ)
- Assign activity (RFx) to various Commodity Specialists and monitor/coordinate to ensure execution
- Contact Suppliers for timely submittal of proposals and clarifications
- Conduct analysis on supplier responses to RFI, RFP, RFQ
- Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices
- Propose supplier selections and provide justifications for supplier selections
- Evaluates suppliers' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness
- Put in place NDA with suppliers
- Able to understand and interpret part drawings
- Understanding of and compliance with FAR-DFAR, TINA requirements for military proposals
- Prepare cost models and analytics where required
- Executes Supply Chain strategies
- Perform competitive market analysis
- Tabulate and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Execute negotiation strategies to attain best value
- Assist in the preparation of customer approval packages prior to award
- Launch and own the process improvement initiative for Supply Chain Military Proposals process flow by holding events/workshops, mapping out the current state, recommending improvements/future state, and executing the process changes once approval is obtained
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
- Minimum 1 year experience in either Supply Chain, Procurement, Program Management, Project Management
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with shifting priorities
- Technical or manufacturing aptitude
- Advanced computer skills and ability to use procurement systems; proficient in Microsoft excel and power point
