Job Description
*This role will be mostly remote with some travel required around Virginia + surrounding areas.Â
The RoleÂ
The Supply Chain Planner for GTI will be responsible for supporting market & national supply chain reporting/analysis including: cultivation, operations, inventory management, supply & demand. You will bring depth of working with a high amount of production facilities, SKUs, brands & thrive in a start-up, gritty environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in. Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Inventory management Â
- Show proficiency with inventory management strategies and company assets to promote a healthy supply chain Â
- Manage weekly reporting of FG, WIP inventory levels & execution of the actions to take to optimize Â
- Coordinate monthly material planning process for packaging & ingredients replenishment orders Â
Supply & DemandÂ
- Build, manage & refine demand forecasting process to identify areas of opportunity & manage risk Â
- Ability to optimize production schedule based off demand trends & inventory levels Â
- Maintenance of data in Supply Chain Planning systemÂ
OperationsÂ
- Lead weekly reporting for critical metrics such as throughput rates, Pre Roll outputs, Inventory, etc Â
Qualifications Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or related degree preferred
- 4+ years experience related to supply chain, production/operations planning, and/or purchasing working with many skusÂ
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel requiredÂ
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulnessÂ
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environmentÂ
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externallyÂ
- Possesses a high level of critical thinkingÂ
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationÂ
- High attention to detail and accuracyÂ
Additional RequirementsÂ
- Must pass any and all required background checks Â
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Â
- Must possess valid driver’s licenseÂ
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of ageÂ
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
