Job Description

Background & Position Summary

The Supply Chain specialist will have a pivotal role in the Supply Chain organization.The role requires a solid understanding of the business and the requirements for servicing our customers. The right candidate has solid experience with project management, will have worked with large datasets and have experience in order processing and stock management as well as strong interpersonal and relationship skill

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for planning and ordering a significant part of the $30M spend for ITW Denmark and responsible for handling our main strategic suppliers and forecasting our ocean freight. To be a success in this role it is important that you possess a strong analytical mindset to be able to detect trends, coordinate actions, and plan scenarios to ensure the best possible balance between demand and supply to deliver on our main KPI's.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure that we meet our Main KPI’s (IFOT, MOH and SLOB) to ensure best possible service to our customers while balancing our stock value
• Procurement of high volume fasteners from Strategic Suppliers
• Driving S&OP process for the Wood Screws BU
• Driving campaign execution between Sales, Product Management, Suppliers and Warehouse
• Coordination & communication of delivery plans and supply issues to key stakeholders
• Driving optimization projects with respect to our main KPI’s
• Sea Freight consolidation and forecasting and coordination with freight agent and corporate
• Will be able to take a project manager role in out/-in sourcing projects
• Custom Warehouse setup and seek opportunities to drive more volume on this setup.

Qualifications

• Technical educational background with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with Sales & Operations Planning proces
• Strong analytical capabilities
• High level excel skills and experience with Power BI
• Experience working in ERP systems
• Excellent Danish and English written and oral communication skills 
• Desire to develop in Strategic Sourcing, Category, Supply Chain Management
