Conditions of Employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require 6-12 weeks TDY, approximately 30% of the time in support of USACC Cadet Summer Training, or Cadet Command seminars/classes, and other events as directed.
- A valid state driverโs license is required.
- Special Requirement - May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driverโs License with Hazardous Material Endorsement.
- Incumbency of this position is limited to persons who have not had a conviction of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 922).
- Completion of a Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- This position requires lifting of at least 50lbs
- This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program.
- Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019, Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified Critical Under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program, or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Ensures record management files are properly maintained; 2) Follow procedures to inspect supplies or equipment for discrepancies. 3) Operates automated word processing equipment with hardware and/or software components to prepare a variety of material including correspondence, forms, reports, etc.; AND 4) Maintains property book in accordance with applicable regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service at the GS-6 level.
