We are looking for sushi chefs, roll-men with a fine dining experience who love to create, valued teamwork, and like to have fun at the same time! Job Requirements: • Must have more than 5 years experience working as a sushi & sashimi sushi chef • Demonstrated customer service experience • Experience working in a fast-paced working environment • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintain a fun and positive attitude • Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities Responsibilities • Prepare and serve traditional Japanese dishes. • Handle orders from customers and communicate with customers to verify quantity, special requests, etc. • Prepare the ingredients according to the head chef's instructions, keeping up with the fast-paced rhythm of the line. • Have essential knife skills for cutting fish and prepping other ingredients. • Clean, cut and prep fish and other ingredients as instructed by the head chef. • Mix and blend sauces, dressings and garnish as directed. • Be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs. • Maintain all equipment in full working order. • Arrange dishes on platters in accordance with preparation instructions obtained from the head chef. • Partner with service personnel and restaurant managers to satisfy guests. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers at all times. • Effectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
