Sushi Chef/ Kitchen line cook Overview: We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences in our restaurant. As a Sushi Chef, your responsibilities are cutting fish, cutting vegetables, making nigiri, making sushi rolls, and plating. As a kitchen line cook, your responsibilities are prepping vegetable, proteins, being able to cook proteins, tempura, and grilling proteins. Duties: • Prepare sushi/kitchen dishes according to recipes and standards • Knife skills (cutting whole fish) • Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation • Maintain cleanliness and organization in each station • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines • Engage with customers to provide information on menu offerings • Contribute to the overall success of the culinary team • Cleaning stations and overall restaurant space • Willing to learn Experience: • Familiarity with food safety procedures and regulations • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation • Team player • Punctual • This position is 100% of the time standing If you are passionate about creating exquisite sushi dishes, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment, we invite you to apply for this position with us.
