Sustainability Program Manager Location:Austin, TX Market rate:$100-125/hr (W2) Schedule:M-F, 40 hours/week Contract:6 months (probable extensions/conversion) Start:August Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, disability, paid vacation/sick leave, 401(k) Job Overview: This role will be executing and supporting scaled supplier net zero engagement, and assisting in executing net zero strategy within the org. Their ability to drive quick closures of things, follow up on comms within 48-hour turnarounds, and positive feedback from stakeholders will be indicators of how they are performing in this role. Responsibilities: • Execute and support net zero engagement with suppliers, share net zero expectations, align on reduction targets • Prepare for supplier and stakeholder meetings, support presentation or conduct meetings as needed • Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership • Support the Supplier GHG reduction program for indirect suppliers. Ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals through partnership with the strategic sourcing organization and select teams across value chain • Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate engagement and understanding of sustainability and emissions goals • Build and manage operational model and tools to enable supplier prioritization, engagement, and implementation • Maintain understanding of evolving sustainability policy and climate-related trends. Synthesize and share to drive strategic planning • Drive financial evaluation of emerging opportunities and risks. Support evaluation of sustainability reduction technology and partnerships • Implement procurement related tool enhancements and manage associated change control in collaboration with other teams • Deliver continuous improvement. Scale tools, processes, and workflows to streamline sustainability management. • Create and deliver Sustainability and Performance reporting dashboards. Perform analyses and present results using Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, thoughtspot)Minimum Qualifications: • B.A. or B.S. degree in environmental sustainability, supply chain, procurement, or equivalent experience • 10 years of experience in Strategic Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management or Corporate Sustainability • Experience balancing multiple initiatives at once • Communication and process/project management experience • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing supplier sustainability and performance solutions • Procurement systems/processes/tools experience • Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processesTop must-have skills: • Net zero supplier engagement experience • Supply chain • Understanding of GhG accountingGood to have skills: • Project management • Stakeholder engagement • Communication skills#TM2
