Job Description:

This position is for Sr. System Administration support for development and production environments for an Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) system. Responsibilities include obtaining and configuring Virtual Machines (VMs), loading Operating systems and software, performing security hardening, patching, and monitoring status. Position also will support ISSO and ISSEs in obtaining and maintaining security certification and accreditation. Apply knowledge of computer operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology. Independently read, write and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

The Level 2 System Administrator shall possess the following capabilities:

• Desired Experience with:
  • Networking/Load Balancing
  • Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines (AWS/EC2)
  • Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Docker Containers
  • Scripting languages (e.g. Perl, bash, etc.)
  • OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
  • Directory services (active directory and/or LDAP)

Qualifications:

• 10 years' experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• This position has been designated as requiring CWIP certification and requires one of the following baseline certifications to qualify:

  A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CASP CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP

  • 6 month grace period to obtain certification is in effect for those that don't currently hold CWIP compliance

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
