System Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA - local candidates only

Contract Length: 5 months
Position Overview:
The Systems Analyst will collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements, write user stories, and facilitate development within Agile frameworks, while serving as a key liaison for issue resolution and product delivery.
Duties:

• Participate in both technical and business analysis requirements gathering.
• Work within Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
• Participate in an agile development environment - write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist business product owners with communicating their requirements clearly in order for the sprint team members to create an application or enhance existing applications.
• Function as a resource between IT developers, sprint team members and the business units; serve as a point of contact for advanced and technical issue logging, tracking, and resolution.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of experience eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site analysis and use cases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• 5 years of experience in an agile development environment
