Job Summary

In our Design Center in Timisoara our team creates technologies for the Automotive Market. Our power electronics portfolio includes Onboard Chargers, 48V and High-voltage DC/DC Converters.

As our design team is growing, we're looking to add System Test Engineer colleagues located in Timisoara.

Reporting to the Test & Validation Manager, these roles will be responsible to work closely with Design Engineers to understand product functionality, architecture, and SW structure and participate in the requirements review phase.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop test specifications for complex functions verifications based on system requirements and system architecture
• Automate the tests cases into software sequences in test system environment
• Perform tests and prepare reports according with the defined test process
• Integrate all test environment components (SW, HW & Mechanic) in conformity with requirements
• Analyze and track anomalies throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Following company standards and development process

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• University Degree in a filed of Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
• Previous system test experience in the automotive industry
• Strong communication skills in English to lead and have advance technical discussions with stakeholders, customer, and non-technical teams
• Knowledge or experience in the following areas: communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet), Vector tools (CANoe, VTSystem etc), programming (C/C++/C# etc), scripting (CAPL, Python, etc), diagnostic standards, system test benches, AUTOSAR standard
• Usage of instrumentation for measurement and control (oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.)
• Experience in product development engineering practices in the automotive field and of related standards (IATF16949, ISO 26262 etc.)
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus
• ASPICE project experience and expertise for automotive electronics serial design projects is a plus
• Strong technical & analytical abilities (systematic approach, capability of abstraction and simplification, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks, understand the use, boundary conditions)
• Expertise working within RM tools (Doors, codeBeamer, Polarion)
• Able to work flexibly and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Detail orientation
