Lone Wolf is looking for an IT System Administrator to assist with supporting our operational infrastructure for our data centers, cloud infrastructure and four offices located in the US, Canada, Colombia and Philippines.
This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door of a rapidly changing technology organization as it moves to cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Office 365. Be a part of shaping the organization as it grows and matures. Bring your experience and we will provide training and hands on experience in the latest on-prem and cloud technologies. This role will be a key contributor in our IT Operations team and will be involved in a variety of projects along with playing a key role in day-to-day operations at Lone Wolf.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing a large VDI environment using Horizons View
- Provide primary system administration, configuration, and 3rd tier troubleshooting of the Windows desktop environment and performance issues using SCCM and InTune.Â
- Identify and automate routine tasks to improve performance and efficiency.Â
- Analyze user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues.Â
- Follow ITIL standards with regards to Incident, Change and Problem managementÂ
- Plan, install, build, manage, support, configure, and test client platforms infrastructure components and connectivity.Â
- Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities, take a proactive approach to improving services, and have an innovative and keen interest in learning new technologies.Â
- Availability to provide 24x7x365 support while operating in a rotational, on-call statusÂ
REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT) field or equivalent military or professional work experienceÂ
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- A keen sense of urgency to facilitate prompt incident identification and resolutionÂ
- Ability to work independently or with a team to analyze and solve complex technical problems through research, diagnosis, identification of the best course of action, presentation of technical roadmap to key stakeholders, testing, and validationÂ
- Incredible verbal and written communication skills required to gather, synthesize, and analyze highly technical information from subject matter experts (SMEs) and to provide clear and concise status updates to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholdersÂ
- Experience supporting Server and Client environments for mission-critical, production applicationsÂ
- Two days a week in office, plus as-needed during quarterly offsitesÂ
DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION
- Amazon AWS and or Microsoft Azure experienceÂ
- 2-5 years of hands-on technical working experience in supporting, deploying and interconnecting various network technologies at an enterprise scale.Â
- 2- 5 years of experience with mobile device management and remote management and monitoring tools.Â
- Proven ability to write and execute PowerShell scripts or other Automation technologiesÂ
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including Windows Server, UNIX, Linux, VMWare ESX, network equipment and operationsÂ
- Experience with HyperV, VMware vSphere (ESXi), vCenter technologies, and virtualizationÂ
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certificate with experience supporting service-oriented operational projectsÂ
