Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic corporate IT team, where you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing software and hardware across our multi-site operations.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in system administration, software and hardware management, and user assistance. This role is crucial for maintaining, upgrading, and ensuring the reliability of our computer systems and network infrastructure. As a Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in supporting our IT initiatives, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT environment. Responsibility:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualization, and MS Cloud.
- Manage Admin queue within ServicePRO ticketing system
- Help manage MS Cloud platform and assist with businesses cloud initiatives
- Support help desk with troubleshooting and providing technical support
- Help support a multi-site VMware cluster
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group/mailbox administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring
- Provide maintenance and firmware updating to physical hardware
- Use Veeam to ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
- Support and deployment of Meraki hardware
- Participate / Administer Windows Monthly Server Patches
- Monitor and manage SDWan / circuits through our MSP / ISP’s
- Operate within the guidelines of JSOX and assist with auditing and report requests
- Some travel necessary to support other facilities
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with system administration and IT user assistance
- Strong knowledge of systems, backup procedures, hardware, and networking protocols
- Strong in Azure/Exchange Online/SharePoint
- Working knowledge of virtualization and VMWare.
- Windows Server, Windows 10, MS Office
- Strong in Active Directory and GPO.
- RDS/Terminal services experience
- Working knowledge of Meraki hardware
- Experience with Eaton / N1C / Tripp Lite / UPS Systems
