Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operation and maintenance of a  range of scientific instruments and tools with a focus on laboratory automation systems and cross-integration systems
- Develops and recommend new processes and technologies to achieve cost-effectiveness and improved product quality
- Specifies fluidic components, identifies material compatibility & develops P&ID diagrams
- Collaborates with operations in resolving issues with regard to equipment and systems
- Lead documentation, knowledge transfer, and training activities
- Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirementsÂ
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. MS preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree;Â
- Experience in designing and writing scripts using control software or dynamic scheduling software native to laboratory automation systems and cross-integration systems
- Experience with sample tracking software and developed interfaces between robotic instrumentation and LIM systems
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently
- Hands skills in assembling and maintaining hardware
- Capable of effectively supervising technicians
