The Gist

Our current environment runs on Cloud-based Virtual Machines for both Microsoft Azure and AWS Linux (RHEL v 8.6/7). Our Systems Engineer will work to migrate all UIPath services from Azure-based Microsoft Virtual Machines to AWS Linux. You will be responsible for understanding the Microsoft as-is environment and prepare the migration to RHEL. You will support the current environment, stand up the UiPath Linux environment, ensure all services are running, all OS-level patching in coordination with the OCIO Cloud Team, and own the process to update the Authority to Operate, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), as well as to lead Change Requests.

What Your Day Might Include

• Ensure all machines are running, restarting when needed, scaling out as needed, monitoring performance.
• Review tickets on a day-to-day basis, obtaining priority from government Product Owner.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable functions such as configuring new VMs.
• Plan for the approximate 3X infrastructure/design upgrade moving to AWS.
• Support the emerging Document Understanding and AI/ML tools.
• Manage licenses and renewals.
• Upgrade software from Vendor (updates, patches, new versions).
• Participate in weekly calls with Security Team.
• Use performance monitoring tools to communicate issues.

Requirements

You'll Bring These Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience with: Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x and UiPath Orchestrator
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and provide valuable customer updates.

Preferred Skills

• UiPath Insights and Automate Suite administration, installation, and configuration.
• UiPath Document Understanding familiarity.
• Federal SDLC and Change Management lifecycle
• FedRAMP familiarity
