Role Summary

The Senior Solution Delivery Architect will be responsible for upgrades for CICS Transaction Server, IBM MQ, and associated ISV products. Will also be engaged on the transition from client's in-house IT into Ensono's support. The Senior Systems Programmer supporting CICS and MQ for the Transition Team may be engaged in more than one migration or project simultaneously.

What You Will Do:

• Minimal Requirements include five years of experience working within a z/OS environment.
• Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, IBM MQ, and Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Technical implementation skills required for CICS, MQ, and related ISV software products on the z/OS platform.
• This includes experience with SMP/E, including base installation and maintenance application. Proficiency in interacting with ISV vendors, problem determination and resolution for the products identified above.
• ISV products include, but are not limited to Abend-Aid, Xpediter and Intertest.
• Ability to host meetings and conference calls.
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel to a level of creating documents which can be shared with clients.
• Successful candidate will have experience with CICS and MQ upgrades from start to finish.
• Will serve as primary technical contact for CICS and IBM MQ for one or more clients during transition. Experience supporting CICS and IMB MQ on zOS is required. Experience with DB2, IMS, or zOS
• Operating System a plus. Successful candidate will have experience upgrading CICS and IBM MQ on zOS.

What You Will Need:

• Will be responsible for upgrades of a clients CICS regions, MQ Queue Managers, and support of CICS, MQ, and related ISV's.
• Learn client environments as they transition into Ensono
• Help transition support of client environment to Ensono Steady State teams
• Attend client meetings to understand environment
• Address issues as they arise during client migration.
