Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information technology and cybersecurity, with expertise in network architecture and system security. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. This role involves monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. The Security Analyst works closely with the Network, Applications, and System IT teams to develop and implement security strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Duties
· Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for company infrastructure.
· Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, and alerts to detect potential threats or anomalies.
· Use security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS) to detect, prevent, and respond to attacks.
· Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
· Conduct risk assessments for new projects, systems, or changes in infrastructure.
· Advise on security implications during the planning and implementation of technology solutions.
· Collaborate with corporate IT and infrastructure teams to implement and optimize the organization’s cybersecurity tools and capabilities.
· Ensure the proactive development and maintenance of cybersecurity monitoring and support solutions.
· Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
· Work with technical experts and leadership on security incident follow up, assist with the resolution of daily incidents such as intrusion detection, malware infections, denial of service attacks, data leak protections, privileged account misuse and network breaches.
· Investigate security incidents and remediate vulnerabilities.
· Document existing enterprise security systems configuration, processes, procedures and recommend improvements and/or alternatives.
· Lead or assist in the response to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
· Create and maintain detailed incident reports and analysis for future prevention.
· Coordinate with external security vendors or law enforcement when necessary.
· Participate in internal audit processes and ensure compliance with ISO27001.
· Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to reduce the risk of human-related breaches.
· Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization
· Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
