Marlyn Nutraceuticals Inc., a leading company in natural health solutions since 1948, is seeking a GMP Coating Operator who possesses a solid understanding of the film coating process and liquid solution blending in nutraceutical or pharmaceutical tablet coating operations. The role involves mixing two or more liquids to achieve a uniform mixture that is atomized onto tablet surfaces. Key Responsibilities: 1. Equipment Operation • Set up, operate, and monitor aqueous film coating machines (Vector-Freud solid dose Coater). • Adjust machine parameters and monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, spray pressure, and pan speed. • Ensure proper coating uniformity and thickness while performing routine mantenance. 2. Coating Solution Preparation • Accurately weigh, measure, and prepare coating solutions, ensuring proper mixing and dispersion of ingredients. • Maintain clean and sanitized equipment to prevent contamination. 3. Quality Assurance and Compliance • Adhere strictly to current Good Manufacturing Practices. • Conduct in-process checks and maintain accurate documentation of batch records and process parameters. 4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving • Identify and resolve equipment performance issues and coating defects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and implement improvements. 5. Health and Safety Awareness • Follow health and safety protocols relevant to chemical use and machinery operation to maintain a safe working environment.
