Job Description
We currently have an exciting newly created opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to take charge of our Talent Acquisition function at Minor Hotels. Reporting to our Head of People ANZ, this position will be based in our corporate office in the Brisbane CBD.
This role will be instrumental in developing and executing our talent acquisition strategy. As a key member of the People and Culture team, you will draw on your strategic experience to lead a dedicated team of talent acquisition professionals, ensuring efficient and effective recruitment and retention of our team members in properties throughout Australia and New Zealand.Â
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate the Talent Acquisition function and develop a strategic three-year roadmap
- Design and implement a comprehensive internal recruitment strategy to address Minor Hotels ANZ current and future hiring needs and support brand expansion
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
- Collaborate with executives and operational leaders to build relationships, understand recruitment needs, and support succession planning and internal career development objectives
- Identify practical and commercially viable approaches to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment and retention efforts across all levels, including the development of new talent pipelines
- Create and execute targeted recruitment strategies with measurable outcomes
- Review and refine existing recruitment processes and practices to ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry best practices and relevant employment laws
- Assess and integrate Talent Acquisition technology systems and software to improve reporting capabilities and process efficiency
- Lead and mentor Talent Acquisition team members to foster their professional growth and development
- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to evaluate the success of hiring strategies and implement data-driven improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years experience in Talent Acquisition within a large organisation (minimum of 2,000 employees), including substantial experience in team leadership and development
- A proven track record in developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated excellence in leading, developing, and supporting the growth of team members
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Outstanding communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proven negotiation skills with candidates and partners/suppliers
- Familiarity with Australian immigration processes, including visa requirements and employment legislation
- Qualification in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
