Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will assist with tax preparation, compliance, and reporting for clients or the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a strong foundation in tax accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a professional setting.

What you will be responsible for:

• Assist in preparing corporate income tax returns and related documentation
• Support the preparation and filing of GST/VAT returns.
• Work closely with senior tax accountants and team members to ensure accurate records of tax liabilities and timely filings and submissions to tax authorities
• Maintain organized and accurate tax records.
• Assist in basic reconciliations related to tax reporting.
• Gather and organize documentation for audit purposes and supporting in responding to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Research and stay updated on changes to local tax laws.

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or tax preparation
• Familiarity with basic tax concepts for corporate and indirect taxes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
