Tax Accountant – Growing CPA Firm

Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant with a strong background in preparing returns for high-net-worth individuals and business entities. This role offers an excellent growth opportunity in a collaborative, professional environment. Responsibilities • Prepare and review tax returns for: • High-net-worth individuals • Corporations (1120, 1120-S) • Partnerships (1065) • Trusts and estates (Form 1041) • Non-profits (Form 990 – a plus, but not required) • Assist with tax planning and compliance projects • Work with accounting records and make adjusting journal entries • Collaborate with senior staff and partners to serve clients effectively • Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations Qualifications • 3+ years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting firm • Proficiency with 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and high-net-worth individual returns • Knowledge of trusts, estates, and nonprofit returns a plus, but not required • Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries • CPA candidate preferred (not required) • Detail-oriented, motivated, and seeking growth within a dynamic firm What We Offer • Competitive salary: $90,000 – $110,000 based on experience • Clear growth path in a fast-growing firm • Hybrid work option available after 6 months • Collaborative and supportive work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Ability to Commute: • Manhattan, NY 10123 (Required) Work Location: In person
