Tax Accountant

Overview Asel and Associates, PLLC has an opening for a tax accountant/tax reviewer with 3-4 years’ experience. This is a full-time position with great benefits. The desired candidate would have strong accounting skills and needs to be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of GAAP, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Taxation, General Ledger, and other accounting principles. The minimum required education is a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related finance field. Desire and/or eligibility to sit for the CPA is required. Please send your resume [email protected] Responsibilities • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments, federal and state returns • Manage clients by group, keep state and federal filing obligations up to date, and meet important deadlines • Understand client’s business and track changes related to taxes • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals • Liaise with internal and external auditors, provide tax entries for reviewed/audited financials. Skills • Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Reviewer • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures • Familiarity with accounting software packages • Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular) • Excellent analytical and time management skills • Strong numeracy skills • Keen attention to detail • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant subject • CPA is preferred Join our team as a Tax Accountant/Reviewer where you can contribute your expertise while growing your career in a supportive environment!
