Administrator/Tax Clerk, State & Local Tax (Las Vegas, NV)– FandlGagnon, LLC www.fandlgagnon.com has an immediate opening for an office administrator/ tax clerk position to focus on support functions for various state & local tax compliance engagements in our Las Vegas, NV office.
Job Responsibilities:Administrative level position will support tax professionals by completing a variety of clerical duties as well as support and assist with certain tax compliance functions. Applicants should have the ability to process mail, process payments, upload documents and assist in the timely preparation and filing of various states’ sales and use tax, personal property tax, business license and other miscellaneous state and local tax returns and payments for Fortune 500 and middle market companies. Applicants should have the ability to organize their workload in order to meet multiple deadlines. Applicants will have daily interaction and correspondence with tax authorities, clients, and other team members.
Qualifications:High School diploma required; Associate Degree preferred. 2 to 4 years of administrative experience; tax experience is a plus. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (TEAM’s, Word, and Excel) is required. QuickBooks knowledge a plus. Ability to work independently, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks are a must.
