We are looking for a talented Team Lead 3rdShift to join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING for our Components Business Segment in Charleston, SC

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Assign or move people to stations/areas as needed.
• First responder to resolve conflict.
• Assist management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs. Communicates effectively with team members, other Team Leaders, and support functions.
• Understand business metrics (production schedules, production goals, etc). Understand team production measures (TAKTtime, throughput time, block, starved, etc).
• Keep all performance data reports current (APEX). First responder to machine/station downtime. Respond to any material shortages by calling Materials manager or coordinator.
• Respond to any Quality issue. Call Quality department if necessary. Comply with HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure all associates are following standard work procedures, Process Documentation, and other Quality procedures.

Maintain training matrix for all associates. Lead cross functional team in improvement projects. Know the bottleneck operation of the line.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on the job experience.
• Obtain level 2 for all single cells and be familiar with all other lines to support as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
