Team Lead

We are looking for an ambitious, organized and results-driven professional who wants the opportunity to combine their sales, marketing, and leadership skills into a growing office. 

In this sales management role, you will run your team like a small business. You will report to the Country Product Manager based in Rome. You will play a key role in setting the strategy for the northern Italian regions. This includes strategy development, sales and marketing, goal setting, and staff management. The growth you drive will have a positive impact. You will help grow our community of global families that can change the world through the au pair program.

 What you will do: 

• Plan, coordinate, and develop sales & marketing activities, including lead generation strategies (online & offline) and drive conversion, within your given budget. 
• Lead five direct reports. Develop their sales skills through training and coaching. Track their achievements and provide performance reviews. 
• Achieve sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis 
• Step into any aspect of the job necessary to help the team achieve its goals. These aspects will include telesales, screening candidates, visiting schools/universities, hiring and training office and field staff. 
• Management of quality control and customer service via contact with US operations

Professional Requirements 

• 3-5 years’ work experience in the sales and/or marketing functions, with at least 1 of those years in a sales management role, having staff management experience is a plus 
• You have a strong business insight and commercial instinct 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Full proficiency in Italian and English 
• Ability to prioritize and be efficient - meet challenging deadlines and perform under pressure 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word)
• Salesforce knowledge is a plus
