Team Lead - NCIS

Description

SAIC is hiring a Team Lead with an active TS/SCI clearance to support the Department of Navy (DoN) with the Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Due Diligence process.

This position is located 100% onsite in Quantico, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• In coordination with NCIS, NIA OCEA-N, and ONI support, develop, and contribute to the comprehensive review of SBIR/STTR proposals and associated vendors.
• Oversee the due diligence process for the NCIS team and ensure that final write-ups and input are conducted and received in a timely manner.
• Manage a cross-functional team to include: assigning tasks, providing feedback, and ensure that team members meet schedule and performance objectives.
• Manage the completion of an annual product summarizing trends and threats from foreign entities to supported SBIR/STTR elements.
• Develop and implement policy and procedures to ensure that the due diligence process is transparent, accountable, and effective. Continually assess process and recommend methods/procedures for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic guidance.
• Monitor and report on program performance.

Qualifications

Required Clearance:

• TS/SCI required to start
• US citizenship required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and and fifteen (15) years experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years experience.
• Five (5) years or more of project management experience
• Must be able to interface with all levels of functional/division acquisition offices to accomplish project for the government program office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with process improvement methods

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with SBBR/STTR
• Experience Supporting DoD software acquisition
• Experience with acquisition and program management within the DoD community
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives
