Tech Lead - eCommerce (Contract)Appnovation is looking for a talented Technical Lead with strong ecommerce experience, ideally with Commercetools or headless ecommerce implementation, to join our highly motivated and experienced team, working within our growing development team creating solutions for our client base.This exciting role will give you the opportunity to lead development on groundbreaking ecommerce projects.WHAT YOU WILL DOYour day to day responsibilities will include:● Lead the development process that build solutions across multiple platforms following MACH architecture principles● Lead development teams across front end commerce components, system integrations, micro service engineering and martech● Coordinate and work closely with Business Analytics, Delivery Leads and client stakeholders and technical counterparts● Input into the definition of the Technical Architecture of Ecommerce solutions● Support project Discovery and Functional Definition through investigating, structuring, and writing Agile functional requirements aligned to Solution Definitions● Refine best practices, processes and standards for our commerce engineering approach● Be hands on and able to assist with critical coding, peer programming and advise on refactoring, TDD, etc.WHO YOU ARE - THE ESSENTIALSHaving a good mix of these skills will make you a great candidate for the role:● Passionate about software development and highly skilled in the digital commerce● Ecommece business acumen for checkout, payment, order management, product & catalogs, personalization, subscription, customer data, omnichannel.● Excellent understanding of Commercetools and API driven architectures● Solid understanding and capabilities with cloud technologies, serverless, event driven architectures, message queues, security best practices, identity management, performance engineering, CI/CD, search, commerce analytics● Strongly adaptable and able to work closely with Architects, Developers and UX and design teams● Excellent verbal, written and presentation skillsWHO YOU ARE - NICE TO HAVE● Working experience with the following is a plus: ❖ JAMstack (NextJS, Gatsby JS, GraphQL) ❖ Contentful or other headless CMS ❖ Algolia Search ❖ PIM integrations ❖ Personalisation and Testing
