We are looking for a Tech Lead who is innovative, detail-oriented, and a strong leader to join our Metasites Team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to lead the Metabrowser engineering team, driving the development of immersive and cutting-edge metasites.

Strong technical expertise in ReactJS, Unreal Engine, Centrifugo, and WebGL is essential, along with experience in leading technical teams and delivering visually stunning, interactive web experiences. The ability to navigate complex projects, adapt to evolving technologies, and mentor a high-performing team will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• First 3 months: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current Metabrowser architecture, identifying performance and scalability improvements, and delivering a strategic development plan.
• First year: Lead the successful development and deployment of advanced Metasite features that improve interactivity, rendering efficiency, and user engagement by at least 30%.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features and updates.
• Collaborate closely with the creative, product, and design teams to align technical solutions with the artistic and functional goals of Metasites.
• Implement advanced rendering techniques using WebGL and Unreal Engine to create immersive web experiences.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process and improve deployment reliability.
• Mentor team members, foster innovation, and build a culture of excellence within the Metasites engineering team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams, especially in web development or gaming environments.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS and WebGL for building highly interactive web interfaces.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine for integrating 3D assets and rendering technologies into web platforms.
• Experience with Centrifugo or similar technologies for real-time communications.
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Familiarity with 3D modeling tools and asset pipelines.
• Knowledge of emerging Web3 technologies and decentralized web concepts.
• Experience in SEO and performance optimization for high-traffic web platforms.
• Previous experience in gaming, interactive media, or a related creative industry.
