Tech Project Manager

What success looks like in this role: Job Summary: We are seeking an experiencedTechnical Program Manager (TPM)to lead and manage large-scale infrastructure initiatives across our global technology organization. This role will oversee cross-functional projects involving data centers, cloud migrations, networking, enterprise platforms, and IT service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure programs on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Program Leadership:Drive end-to-end execution of infrastructure programs including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication. • Cross-Functional Coordination:Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, compliance, and vendor teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. • Technical Oversight:Understand technical architecture and infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking, cloud) to facilitate effective discussions and trade-offs. • Budget & Resource Management:Track and manage budgets, forecast resource requirements, and ensure effective utilization. • Change Management:Ensure proper change control, documentation, and operational readiness for infrastructure deployments. • Governance & Reporting:Maintain program documentation, status dashboards, and executive-level reporting to ensure transparency and alignment. • Risk Mitigation:Identify, track, and resolve technical and programmatic risks/issues before they impact timelines or deliverables. You will be successful in this role if you have: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 3 years in infrastructure or IT operations environments. • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure domains such as data center, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), networks, virtualization, backup, and storage. • Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or traditional project management methodologies (PMP or equivalent a plus). • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences. • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience managing infrastructure transformation programs (e.g., cloud migration, data center consolidation). • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar. • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) is a plus. This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
