Reporting to: Service Manager
Location: London or Nottingham (with hybrid or UK remote available)
We’ve been pioneering embedded finance since 2007 and over the years, we’ve worked in partnership with banks, SaaS providers, payment processors, checkout providers, and even the UK government – providing all they need to offer easy and frictionless revenue-based finance solutions to their SME customers through our API-powered funding platform. Who are you?Â
You are someone that is passionate about creating and maintaining a high standard of easy-to-follow technical documentation for use by support staff and third parties such as RFIs. You are comfortable working alongside technical staff and stakeholders to extract and include the relevant information. Â
We think you’ll needÂ
- Experience creating high quality infrastructure, software engineering, and IT (Information Technology) documentation.Â
- Experience in ITIL and Agile methodologies and principles.Â
- A meticulous attention to details and high standards of documentation. Â
- An ability to understand the intended audience and create documentation accordingly. For example, from technical jargon to plain English for non-technical stakeholdersÂ
- An ability to spot knowledge gaps in the support teams and create documentation accordingly. Â
- An understanding of documentation requirements to transition a project from delivery into support. Â
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical team members to extract the required information and determine what is relevant to your documentation. Â
- Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.Â
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.Â

What will you be doing here?Â
You will be part of a Service Management team being created to ensure services are secure, reliable, and managed effectively to ensure a ROI for Liberis. To achieve this, you’ll need to:Â
- Working with Tech teams to document existing infrastructure and systems. Â
- Working with sprint teams to assist with the transition of projects into support. This will be done by:
- In the sprint planning phase, you will work with the sprint team and Service Manager to agree Service Acceptance Criteria and determine what needs to be documented for handover to support and size it for delivery.Â
- Support documentation creation on behalf of the sprint team. Â
- Take ownership of all existing documentation apply standardisation to it to make it easier to read and find. Standardisation like templates and labels. Â
- Create a document management strategy around creation, review, update and retirement.Â
- Improve documentation awareness in the teams by creating a manual or automated weekly roundup of documents that have been added, updated or retired. Â
- Work with the incident manager on major incidents to create a timeline of events and assist with the root cause analysis and post-incident report.
