Technical Education Specialist

The Education Professional will play a crucial role as a Global Education Services team member, responsible for creating and delivering NICE application product training in various formats. Collaboration with multiple departments, such as Product Managers, R&D Engineers, Trainers, and Consultants, is required to ensure proper and timely development of training materials. Alongside designing and developing training materials, the Education Professional will deliver courses to customers, partners, and employees. This position demands in-depth knowledge of NICE products and exceptional communication skills to develop knowledge effectively

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead learning solutions through training life cycle – needs analysis, mapping, design, development, and delivery.
  • Develop technical training solutions and materials for both instructor-led training courses and eLearning programs for customers, partners, and employees.
  • Collaborate closely with the product house to gain expertise in new products and versions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content development.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain training systems in the lab environment to support training activities.
  • Deliver courses on NICE products to customers, partners, and employees in classroom and online (virtual) environments
  • Serve as a point of contact for trainers worldwide, providing product and professional knowledge support to meet their training needs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple training development projects and meeting project timelines.
  • Foster teamwork within a global group, collaborating with colleagues to achieve project and group goals.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and technical training.
  • Meet all milestones and final deliverables by deadlines; when delays occur, work with the Development Manager to monitor, adjust, and proactively communicate revised deadlines as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience- An advantage.
  • Proven experience in training development/ instructional design, specifically for software applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering technical and application training.
  • Expertise in creating training programs for complex technical processes. Proficiency in VB coding and executing DB queries is a must-have skillset.
  • Experienced in developing eLearning courses and video tutorials using authoring tools like Camtasia and Storyline.
  • An added advantage for candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more tools: Articulate Rise, Lectora, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), and related SCORM or Tin Can-compliant production tools. 
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • English at mother-tongue level – verbal and written.
  • Strong self-learning skills to keep up with new software developments and training techniques.
  • Excellent task and time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated to strive for professional excellence in all aspects of work.
  • A positive "Can-Do" attitude with a passion for training and learning.
  • Experience as Support / Software / Field Engineer in a High-Tech company – Advantage.
