What we’re looking for…Â
ScienceLogic is looking for an experienced leader for our Sales Enablement Instructional Design Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading strategic development and measurement of all curricula, producing, and in some cases facilitating, a range of technical training programs for our customers and our sales organization. This role requires a passion for technology and training along with excellent communication and team collaboration skills. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to drive multiple projects simultaneously, working with both SMEs and stakeholders throughout the organization.

The Sales Enablement team is comprised of several functions enabling our global organization: Project Management, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, and Training Delivery. What you’ll be doing…Â
- Managing technical courses and certifications for our flagship products: SL1 and Restorepoint
- Helping to shape the ongoing strategy and mission of the technical training programs
- Working with key customers and internal stakeholders (Sales & Sales Enablement, Product Engineering, etc.) to ensure accurate, effective training content
- Leading the design, development, and facilitation of new training materials including live sessions, interactive presentations, hands-on labs, scenarios, assessments, and innovative engagement experiences both live and virtual
- Delivering Instructor-led training courses, virtual and occasionally in-person
- Customizing training for select customer groups as needed
- Creating and maintaining the technical training lab environment
- Building technical demos of product functionality for targeted use cases
- Analyzing and improving current processes for communicating and disseminating product changes to all portions of our sales organization
- Maintaining program schedule, performance, completion, and evaluation records, and performing LMS data input functions
- Determining the overall effectiveness of technical training programs by gathering and analyzing feedback and evaluation results, and making improvements as necessary
- Collaborating with Instructional Design team on ID concepts, ensuring alignment of materials with eLearning course content
- Engaging and supporting learners in their learning journey, for example by developing and maintaining FAQs, QuickStart Guides, feedback forums, troubleshooting, etc.
- Continuously improving own knowledge of ScienceLogic products
Qualities you possess…Â
- 5+ years’ practical training development/delivery experience, preferably in SaaS or other software fields
- Experience in conducting classroom training for technology products and services
- Foundational knowledge of core technologies such as data networking architectures, physical network components, monitoring
- Knowledge of SL1 or competitors (e.g., Datadog, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, OpsRamp, SolarWinds)
- Experience working with Reprise or other demo management tools
- Experience working with metrics to assess training programs to make data-driven decisions and continuously iterate to improve all programs
- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills combined with a high level of demonstrated project management acumen
- Ability to adapt content to best meet the situational and personal needs of each audience
- Ability to comprehend complex ideas and processes, and explain those ideas and processes in simple, easy-to-understand language
- Experience in researching and analyzing product differentiators and value propositions to assess optimal sales training methodology
- Established and substantiated expertise in multiple training design techniques
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Strong experience managing virtual delivery on multiple platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect, Webex)
- Experience building and managing assessments using Qualtrics or a similar survey solution
- Experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Prezi, and other presentation software
- Expertise in various LMS systems preferred. Experience working with Litmos is a plus
- Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science)
- Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
