Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Architects to work as a tech lead as we expand our capabilites in Waste & Water Management through integrating and extending IBM Envizi IBM Maximo Monitor & Tririga. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development of new product capabilities including cross portoflio integration of these products.

You will closely collaborate with the broader Product Management Design Development & Support team using Scrum agile methodology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to IBM’s Sustainability Software unit with major new capabilities that leverage foundational capabilities from Envizi Maximo and Tririgra.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years experience:

• Developing of data retrieval stored procedures using SQL Server or equivelent
• Experience with C# and .NET 4.5 or later
• Experience with Java Containers and micro-service application development
• Experience in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks HTML TypeScript CSS
• Knowledge and experience in operation and administration of docker kubernetes OpenShift platform
• Has experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline tools and development infrastructure automation
• Has experience in designing building and maintaining large scale CI/CD pipelines
• Hyperscalers like IBM Cloud AWS Azure Oracle etc.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery – from solution design estimation development testing and deployment
• Uphold quality standards including reliability efficiency security maintainability and usability by applying best practice processes methodologies and tools
• Contribute to the design and build evolution of the platform ensuring it remains scalable reliable and easy to use
• Contribute to engineering discussions across our platform
• Collaborate with Product Managers UX Designers Engineers and QA to design develop and deploy new platform features and functionality for our SaaS product

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience working with IBM Maixmo and Tririgra or similar products in the Asset & Building management domain
• Strong leadership skills including the ability to extract high-level goals translate them into technical projects and inspire team members throughout execution.
• A business-oriented mindset demonstrated through your ability to grasp the value of the features you work on and make informed technological decisions to achieve that value.
• Experience with open-source contributions or a strong appreciation for open-source principles and practices.
