Job Description
Company Description
Magnus Veracross is a private-equity-backed leading SaaS EdTech company that has grown 4x in size in 3 years and has consistent industry leading high retention rates. We serve front line educators with the only market disrupting open API single record architecture in the greater than $5B EdTech market. To date we have configured and deployed our product at over 1,000 leading private K-12 schools in over 20 countries.
About the Role
This is an upper-level full-time engineering role where you will work as a technical lead on our Finance product team. On this team, you will help to build and improve our online payments platform, VC Pay, as well as our Accounting product. VC Pay enables schools and families to manage tuition payments, online donations, and other fees. Our Accounting product is used by schools to manage their general ledger and accounts payable/accounts receivable. Having an all-in-one integrated payments, accounting, and school information system improves the lives of school staff and families as it brings otherwise complex workflows into one streamlined systems.
This role includes technical leadership and mentorship for other engineers on the team. Candidates with experience in financial systems, integrating with payment processors, and/or international payment processing are especially encouraged to apply.
This is an exciting time to join this team as we embark on a major refresh of our accounting system and continue to invest in our Payments platform, which is the fastest growing part of Veracross.
Our engineering team is remote-friendly, distributed, and has employees in a variety of states and contractors in several countries. While our headquarters are in Wakefield, MA and proximity to that location is a plus, candidates are encouraged to apply from anywhere.
